Our opponents claimed that the Poles were unable to create a decent state. We want and can do it – said PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński on Saturday during a meeting with the citizens of Legnica.

The Pedagogy of Shame
President Jarosław Kaczyński spoke, among other things, about the defense policy of the United Right.
Military strength is also the strength of society, without which there is no military strength
– said the president of PiS. He cited the defense of Ukraine against Russian aggression as an example of effective defense of Polish interests. He noted that the world’s 23rd army and the second world power clashed there, but the success of Ukraine, much weaker than Russia, is determined by “the willingness of its citizens to fight valiantly” in defense of its independence.
Meeting with voters, he noted that opposition to the United Right, whose representatives ruled for most of the post-1989 period of independence, sought to weaken society’s ability to defend its subjectivity. He noted that the “pedagogy of shame” served this purpose, aiming to convince Poles of their mistakes, including those committed during World War II.
The pedagogy of shame, intensively practiced here for many years and continued in many circles, was also deadly to our national community and the willingness to be here as a nation and defend our interests at different levels even today
– said the president of PiS.
The rebirth of the nation and Poland
According to Jarosław Kaczyński, it was only possible to question the pedagogy of shame after 2005, when his brother won the presidential election.
A movement of many environments arose in Poland, which breathed new life into our country and Poland. We are in favor of this movement being continued and strengthened. Our opponents take the opposite view, even if they argue otherwise. This is an extremely important difference between the two ways of looking at the future of our homeland
– He said.
Kaczyński stressed that the stakes in the 2023 parliamentary elections include continuing activities to strengthen the country’s defense potential.
We are supposed to be an independent, free democratic nation capable of defending itself, or rather a crumbling group of people who do not exist as a community and are open to influence from all sides and unable to create a decent state. Our opponents claimed that the Poles were unable to create a decent state. We want and we can
– said the president of PiS.
There is no solidarity without justice
There is no solidarity without justice, that is clear. And without solidarity no community, because a community is a group of people united by solidarity. This community is the nation – if we don’t want it to be an empty word used only during festive moments, and there are people who don’t like it at all. so if we have to use the word nation – the nation is just Poland, and Poland is and should be very important – then we should know that without justice and the resulting solidarity there is no nation
– said PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński on Saturday in Legnica.
He added that the nation is important for the whole, but also for individuals, especially those who have deeper needs in terms of culture of participation in social life, and are able to reflect on reality from an individual point of view. think.
Such people are complete people, the most valuable people. Our history has shown that when we had no such people, we had many. And there should be many if we want to be a nation and Poland and if we want to defend against the threats facing Poland, Europe or the world
– added Jaroslaw Kaczyński.
This threat, he pointed out, is war, which until recently seemed “something exotic, something that could happen far from our borders.” Kaczyński stated that war has become a reality of our lives, which is felt in the economic crisis, in immigration and in a number of problems that “we can only solve together”.
The most important task that every good authority must set itself is to prevent war. But not on the basis that we give up, that we agree with the strong and do nothing to defend the weak, but on the basis of building strength, including building military strength. And our government not only managed to change the disastrous system that prevailed in Poland in a short time, but also managed to change policies in such a way that Poland became increasingly stronger in terms of military strength. And that the building of strength would continue and accelerate, because today’s history has accelerated
– said the president of PiS.
