OSCE chief Rau described 2022 as the most difficult year in the organization’s history

Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau, head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), described 2022 as the most difficult period in the history of the union, which has existed since 1975. It has been reported DEA News.

“This year is very difficult because it was not possible to build a consensus among the participating countries,” he said.

Rau added that an agreement could not be reached because “Russia allowed aggression against Ukraine”.

In his opinion, the OSCE Ministerial Council, to be held in Lodz on 1-2 December, should conclude with a general summary of the results of “this most difficult year in OSCE history”.

The head of the organization said that the situation in Ukraine will be a key point in the program of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CMFA) in Lodz.
