The pain of disability

People who suffer from a disability or disability affecting any part of their body do not get up in the morning like those who do not have this serious dysfunction. And their minds and days are on how they can deal with this permanent problem for them. With that, in addition to those that may come up during the day, they have one that they have to deal with in perpetuity. They either want it or they don’t. This is your truth. However, it is a fact that society often turns its back on.

Those who are lucky enough not to get a chronic illness only get into this problem one day when a part of their body aches or an injury or something similar. That’s when you have to evaluate how people who are in this situation every day of their lives will feel. Because what was temporary for some is permanent for many citizens today. And you have to be very strong to deal with it. Being able to continue with the same problems that others have, but also a huge handicap they can be exposed to.

According to the most recent data provided by the State Observatory on Disability (OED), 11.19% of personal income tax returns filed in the Common Tax Regime Region in fiscal 2019 revealed the presence of disability statuses in the family unit where the declaration was filed. enthusiasm. The total number of disabled files in the 2019 fiscal year is 2,340,486 people. 47% correspond to women and 53% to men. This percentage difference between men and women reverses after age 65, with women making up 51% of disabled participants in this age group. On the other hand, looking at only the age variable, the data show that 41% of this group is over 65 years old.

In addition, it is a devastating reality that approximately 10% of the world’s population, or 650 million people, live with a disability. They make up the world’s largest minority. One in ten people in the world has problems with sight, hearing, and sight, having to stand up and fight against a real wall every day, meaning the inability to move at all or move one part of their body. countless events that prevent many citizens from living peacefully and enjoying every day. What is surprising, however, is that they do so and are faced with this with greater fortitude than many citizens who do not have this disability and do not realize how lucky they are simply to be able to worry about doing well what they are supposed to do. day, but without the limitations or permanent ailments that those who suffer from them have for life.

For all these reasons, all public aids to be made in favor of the disabled or the disabled are absolutely necessary. And special ones too. Because this is a war we must all intervene in. Not only because those who do not suffer from them tomorrow will be immersed in this real tragedy, but also because of the spirit of solidarity that must permeate the behavior of a society that understands the pain and suffering experienced by many.

Most of the time we worry about trivial things that are not so important. And if this is either resolved later or not, it has nothing to do with someone who wakes up in pain every morning, cannot move easily, has constant headaches or bones without seeing or hearing. pain, discomfort in the hip or other parts of the body. These people are not bothered by these banal problems because they have a problem of their own that leads to how they can spend the day. “to suffer as little as possible”. Look at the goal that those who suffer from life-long disabilities know this to be, and assume there is no going back.

Therefore, the need to increase advances in medical science to combat these limitations and public and private assistance to the disabled is a matter of solidarity where the selfishness of those who do not suffer from it has no place, but one day it will happen to this person and then he will ask others to show solidarity with him. That’s when you realize what it’s like to wake up with pain and no hope of recovery. It is very difficult to wear. Let’s help them.
