The stereotypical progressive warning to PP voters that their decision will bring Vox will have a greater deterrent if Vox supporters are reminded that their vote will strengthen the PP. With the results of Castilla or León and the precedent of the Madrid community, the PP/Vox fraternity cannot be separated. The contamination of conservatives by embracing the far right on an equal footing undoubtedly has theoretical relevance, but the position among resistant democrats, the protocol against the inevitable rise to power of the Abascal boys, is more fascinating.

Still, the “moral majority” insists on a position of abstraction from Vox’s rise or focus on blaming him for the tweets, which is undoubtedly a great journalistic exercise. The dominant position is “Talk about Vox as little as possible so as not to offend”. While the discussion should focus on the ambiguous second part of the proposal, it should focus on resolving whether this omission was democratically fruitful. Who do you bother? The key question is simpler than this article, what will you do when your city’s mayor, a valid omen in all polls, is from Vox? In order to “not blaspheme” at this time, the electorate will slide untraumatically into an admission covered in fatalism as they please. Those who today demand a respectful silence on the pretext of not supporting the far-right will welcome this while explaining: “Needless to repeat, at every step we didn’t say Podemos was ultra-leftist, or worse yet communist.” Fascist regimes are the silent majority, not when voted by the majority. It was normalized when accepted by Here we are.
