On one of the utility poles on my street was one of the papers where someone offered to babysit or walk the dogs, and at the bottom there are some fringes with the advertiser’s phone number. The note said in this case: “Live like a giant but sleep like a dwarf.” I tore off one of the eaves and marked it on the way to the park.
“I was calling for the ad,” I said.
Oh, advertisement! cried a lady from the other side. They’ve already called me seven times this morning.
Then he explained to me that he did not put it himself, but that he was an unscrupulous person who had his number.
“A bad joke,” he finished.
-But why giant and dwarf? -I insisted.
-You see, I’m renting the attic of my house, it’s very low ceiling, you can just lean through it, so you can enjoy the feeling of being a giant. Sleeping can be done like a normal person.
“But in the commercial,” I argued, “it talks about sleeping like a dwarf.”
But I’m telling you anyway that I don’t know who sent it.
After saying goodbye to my lady, I entered the park and quickened my steps. I was thinking about it while walking this is from the warnings on the utility poles, which, as everyone reads, can be of endless benefit. When I got home, I wrote a few, with the caption: “Call the number below and congratulate the recipient on the quality of their latest novel. The man is about to commit suicide because no one reads. He named it after a writer friend whom I admire, but whose work had little influence. I photocopied and occupied the poster quarter. Two days later, my friend called me excited about the congratulations he received.. I told him they deserved it and noted the success to maybe try it myself in the future. You do this on Twitter and it doesn’t work, but it continues to have a strange appeal due to its analogue, manual, tangible, rarity.
