No, I understand that people with a beautiful face will now rub their hands, sobbing and talking at length, but vaguely, of conscience and the impossibility of existing with a tyrant. The situation is clear, but I have a question: why then is our president a tyrant? In any case, humanity has not yet divided into varieties, and you – yes. And loud, live. Standing in an uncomfortable position – both victims and the highest moral tuning fork. At the top, so to speak.
Can someone explain to me, please, why should I or anyone else be guided by the opinions of people fleeing their home country in a difficult moment? Is it because they shout loudest about conscience? I can shout too, it doesn’t take much mental effort.
But what upsets me most, causes melancholy and hurts me is the little dog nature of what is going on. In the blackest comedy, you won’t find Dolin the film critic instead of Thomas Mann, or Alla Pugacheva instead of Einstein. And instead of fascist Germany, a country that imports tons of humanitarian aid and exports thousands of people from the war zone.
There was Yugoslavia, there was Iraq, there was Libya and Syria. But the philosophical ships of the best minds of our time did not cross the Atlantic from the USA. For some reason.
Oh yes, it’s different.
Well, what can I say? Good luck. And by the way, with the separation of the singer Zemfira for the first time in my life, I realized that I had personally matured and transcended some things. Still, it’s definitely a shame.
