New vehicle sales in the Netherlands in November fell year-on-year by -17.5% to 27,333 new registrations, which resulted in a decrease of -8.3% to 287,265 units since the beginning of the year. Kia (+ 15.2%) defied the market decline and consolidated its top position in the brand ranking with a 10.1% share compared to 9.5% in the year to date. It is moving away from Volkswagen (-35.9%) and falling sharply year-on-year, but at 9.3% it is close to the YTD level in terms of shares. Toyota (-4.5%) is holding back in third place, while Skoda (+ 0.8%) is climbing and gaining six places in October in fourth place. Hyundai (+ 74.7%) posted by far the greatest increase in the top 10, as did BMW (+ 15.5%). In contrast, Volvo (-46.3%), Renault (-32.3%), Peugeot (-28%) and Ford (-26.2%) are falling faster than the market.

The Skoda Enyaq celebrates its first victory in the Netherlands.

Over in the model ranking, the Skoda Enyaq achieved its first victory in the Netherlands with a share of 3.7%, beating the previous front runner Kia Niro (-18.5%) behind it. The VW Polo (-0.1%) is stable and has moved up one place compared to October to land on the third step of the podium. Below the Peugeot 208 (-8.9%), the Lynk & Co 01 continues to advance and breaks into the top 5 for the first time with 5th place. The Kia Picanto (+ 2.3%) also manages an increase compared to last year in the remaining top 10, but remains on a low 8th place compared to # 2 since the beginning of the year. In 9th place, the VW ID.4 is the third new edition in the top 10, the Toyota Yaris Cross has moved up 21 places to 11th place, the Kia EV6 by 10th to 13th place,
