The late morning hours in Zaragoza were marked by a violent disturbance outside a busy bar on Avenida César Augusto, an incident that drew police attention after a clash escalated into a large-scale fight. Local authorities reported that more than a dozen men, from Moroccan and Algerian backgrounds, were involved in the confrontation. The incident resulted in a trail of broken glass and damaged furniture as can be seen at the scene. Four teenagers were taken into custody at the No. 11 Investigation Court in Zaragoza, and they were released the following day after appearing before the court under duty.

According to early information obtained by this publication, the detainees include four men aged 22, 29, 27 and 29, all of Moroccan or Algerian origin. Some of them are said to be residing in Spain without legal authorization, with at least one holding an expulsion order on record. The group has prior records for violent offenses, threats, robberies with force, attacks on authorities, and disturbances of public order. At issue now is a loud brawl that prompted police intervention and is being treated as a serious public-disorder incident.

The incident began around 8:20 am when the 091 emergency service received a caller reporting a fight at the Urban bar. Police officers from the Superior Headquarters of Citizens’ Security Brigade were dispatched to the scene, and a second report indicated that some participants had fled in the direction of the Oasis room. Officers observed a confrontation inside the bar, with multiple individuals displaying aggression and shouting at one another. The area was littered with broken glass, illustrating the ferocity of the melee.

Witnesses described a scene in which one of the participants, identified as SM, struck a person identified as MO with a bottle. The injured party is being represented by legal counsel, and the case is currently under investigation as the four youths were detained, while three were ordered to remain in custody pending further judicial action. Medical personnel at Miguel Servet University Hospital evaluated the intoxication level of those involved and reported clear signs of drunkenness on arrival.

The investigation did not stop at the moment of arrest. In the front cells of the Actur-Rey Fernando police station, there were reports of damage to a security door and aggressive statements directed at officers. The individuals allegedly warned officers that they would confront them again outside the facility, adding a threat to the ongoing proceedings.

During the course of the events, one detainee, ME, was found to be carrying a quantity of a white substance in the waistband. The material was transferred to health authorities for analysis and verification, with the officers noting suspicious behavior such as concealing the item at the front of the pants. This detail is being used as part of the broader examination of the group’s activities and any associated illegal activity.
