National police authorities in Albacete arrested a suspect from Ossa de Montiel in connection with a pair of home burglaries. The alleged offender and two women who allegedly assisted him were taken into custody. During the operation, investigators recovered some stolen items and seized various narcotic substances at the suspect’s residence.
The Specialized Crime Group of the Alicante Provincial Judicial Police Brigade had begun the inquiry after learning that two break-ins had occurred in apartments within the same building. The intruder reportedly gained access through terraces on the upper levels.
A careful on-site examination suggested the building could be entered from the top floor or from another upper terrace. In each case, two residences were targeted within a short timeframe, showing a pattern that raised questions about the perpetrator’s mobility and the scope of the operation. This pattern indicated a shift away from the typical behavior of roaming burglars who usually do not strike the same location multiple times so quickly.
tool theft
While investigators continued scrutinizing the two burglaries, another theft took place in the same building. A large quantity of appliances valued at two thousand euros belonged to a renovation company working on the site and kept in a shared room. The evidence pointed to a single offender exploiting the premises to conceal the stolen goods.
The tools were later found in an attic of the building, where the author allegedly hid them to enable a stealthy departure. The lead investigator’s mother, who lived nearby, informed agents that her son had left the items there and intended to retrieve them later. Meanwhile, the vehicles were recovered and returned to their rightful owners, thwarting the suspect’s plan.

Thus, the suspect was identified and, after the operation included the installation of a surveillance device, he was tracked to the town of Ossa de Montiel in Albacete, where he attempted to hide.
Medicines
Following the arrest, a judicially authorized search at the Alicante residence yielded most of the items stolen from the two houses. Authorities also seized narcotics including 8.64 grams of cocaine, 8.32 grams of a controlled substance, 87.9 grams of marijuana, as well as several vehicles used for distribution and sale and a cash sum of 870 euros.
The two women arrested for allegedly participating in the events at the targeted home faced charges of drug trafficking, extortion, and theft by force as part of the ongoing investigation.
A biometric monitoring bracelet worn by the chief investigator, issued as a precaution under a court order for gender violence, was noted during the search and the investigator faced related criminal counts. The investigation concluded with the revelation that the arrested person had also been involved in a separate theft incident involving boots anchored at the port of Alicante.
The detainees, a man and two women aged between 24 and 42, were placed at the disposal of the Alicante guard court and it was ordered that they be remanded in custody without delay.
