In the wake of the pandemic, new needs emerged and the arrival of novel business models such as teleworking reshaped the business travel landscape. This shift has transformed medium and long distance train travel, prompting iryo, a dedicated Spanish high‑speed operator, to introduce four distinct comfort zones: Infinite Bistro, Singular Only You, Singular, and Initial. While iryo’s offerings cover all traveler types, the first three zones include tailored services for large companies and SMEs.

Designing unique experiences

The operator’s goal is to deliver quality service across all High Speed routes. Each class centers on the traveler’s well‑being, featuring individual armrest seats with USB and standard plugs, plus complimentary Wi‑Fi with 5G connectivity. Trains depart early to fit professionals’ work schedules, enabling them to arrive on time and maximize the workday.

First class, Infinite Bistro, blends premium service with a strong focus on business travel. Both Infinite Bistro and Singular Only You provide workspaces for group and individual trips, accompanied by exceptionally comfortable leather seating and the broadest range of seating options available.

Singular is the value‑oriented tier that balances quality and price. It serves as a navigator for “Single Companies,” helping organizations control travel costs while preserving worker flexibility. The lineup is completed by Initial, the most economical option that still upholds service and comfort, designed for leisure travelers as well as business users seeking savings.

Taste every journey

The attention to detail extends to iryo’s gastronomic program. Haizea, the on‑board local gastronomy brand, is dedicated to traveler care. Those who select the Infinite Bistro fare at the time of ticket purchase can enjoy service at their seat, choosing from a curated menu that features more than three options and a selection of DO wines.

Guests can also explore the Bar Haizea gastronomic district and sample tapas prepared with the finest local ingredients. Passengers who opt for Singular Only You, Singular, or Start zones can add the Market Menu at checkout to receive seated service. A mobile bar service is available as well, allowing travelers to choose items that iryo attendants deliver directly to their seat during the journey.

A sustainable and flexible offer

Since beginning operations in 2022 on the Madrid–Zaragoza–Barcelona and Madrid–Cuenca–Valencia corridors, iryo plans to expand further. New routes are scheduled to launch in 2023 and beyond, including an Andalusian expansion starting March 31 to connect Seville, Malaga, and Cordoba, with Alicante linking on June 2 via Albacete and Antequera and Tarragona on June 15.

Across these corridors, business travelers will find Flexible tickets that allow changes without restrictive fees, with options to upgrade to an open modality. Ticket prices begin at 18 euros, offering meaningful flexibility for corporate travelers.

iry o aligns its operations with the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, fostering a culture of more responsible companies and travelers. The fleet includes 20 electric trains of the latest generation, built with 95% recyclable materials and powered entirely by renewable energy. This approach reduces carbon dioxide emissions per passenger journey by approximately 80%.
