United States celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month The place where Hispanic Americans are recognized for their contributions to North American society and culture. Beginning on September 15 and ending on October 15, approximately 20% of the US population comes from: Costa Rica, Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua or Puerto Rico.
That’s why Google asked I pay my respects to New York artist Tito Puente. He is of Puerto Rican descent, who grew up surrounded by music and allowed himself to devote himself to composing songs to the point of being baptized as king of timbales and king of Latin music.
Tito Puente experimented with different Latin music genres such as boogaloo, pachanga and salsa. He was considered a music pioneer because of his creativity and experimentation and He is known for popularizing Latin music in the United States. In 1969 he was given the key to New York City. He died on June 1, 2000.

Google often uses the letters of its logo, anniversaries of famous people, or important dates in the world of science or culture (e.g. birth of charles chaplinNobel winners, the anniversary of ‘Don Quixote’ or a related or new event or the Gregorian calendar.
The famous search engine surprised with such interactive doodles. ‘Pac-Man’ 30th anniversary, allowed him to play this famous video game.
Other notable doodles include a video dedicated to the 70th anniversary of John Lennon’s birth, examining footage of the Beatle; 60th anniversary of Stanislaw Lem’s release of ‘The Astronauts’ with various minigames, or dedicated incredible Les Paul recreates a guitar inspired by the master of six strings that allows users to compose songs.
