Turkish court investigates 2018 murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi The Saudi consulate in Istanbul decided this Thursday close the case and send the file Saudi Arabia, so one of the main investigations to convict the criminal comes to an end.

While the Turkish Prosecutor’s Office opened a case against 26 Saudi nationals in absentia two years ago, Saudi Arabia closed the case in September 2020 after serving eight defendants, five of whom were sentenced to death, to 20 years in prison.
