Alicante Chamber of Commerce attended the International Marble, Stone, Design and Technologies Fair Marmomac held in Verona between 27-30 September, accompanying nine marble companies of the province. The companies of the group, Ivace Internacional, Alicante Chamber of Commerce and Alicante Marble, participated in this competition, which was initiated by the Valencia Community Association, as a group under the slogan of Stone Gallery.
The Chamber’s commitment to supporting companies at the largest international trade fair events, in line with the regional government, has been particularly successful at a time when companies are suffering from uncertainty in foreign markets. Stone Gallery has promoted the Valencian Community’s natural stone and marble sector as a competitive sector capable of providing comprehensive solutions for all types of projects to suppliers and prescribers, with a shared image demonstrating the strength of the sector.
This is one of the initiatives considered in the cooperation agreement between Ivace International and the Chambers of Commerce funded by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The Chamber organizes the group participation of the companies in the sector for the third time upon the request of the Marble Association. The companies own a subsidy of 100% of the rental cost of space and basic decorationswith this they only have to deal with the cost of transporting the samples and their displacement.
