Russia confirms arrest of director of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant
Russian authorities reported the situation. International Atomic Energy Agency The (IAEA) reported that Ihor Murashov, head of the Ukrainian nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia, was “temporarily detained to answer an inquiry,” as confirmed by a spokesman for the UN nuclear agency.
Director of Energoatom, Petro KotinHours ago, he announced on his Facebook page that Murashov was stopped by a Russian Army patrol around 16:00 local time on his way to the factory in his private vehicle.
“The car has been stopped, (Murashov) was forcibly detained, blindfolded and currently there is no information about his whereabouts or fate.”
