The Civil Guard and National Police broke up two drug outlets in Cocentaina. Operation Almin-Gorath also arrested five drug traffickers in the towns of Muro de Alcoy and Cocentaina. The Alcoy Guards Court ordered that the main person in charge of the group go to prison.
The investigations began in February of this year, when both the Civil Guard and the National Police obtained key information about outlets in both Alicante towns. In the first phase, agents conducted various search tasks until they completed i.Identity of five people involved in drug trafficking.
It was also possible to identify the main drug supplier, a 53-year-old Spaniard living in Cocentaina with his wife and two children. The usual time he sold drugs to his customers was 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., and he was doing different transactions either in his car or at two workplaces in the city. The seller had customers not only from Cocentaina, but also from neighboring towns, as the purity of the material he was selling was known in the region.
One of the first moments of the operation was the arrest of one of the main seller’s relatives and a hotel manager from Cocentaina. After the arrest and search of the hostel, a large number of searches were made and these searches, arrest of four new traders. One of them was the main suspect, the local manager and his partner and employee of the establishment.
Alcoy Court of Duty and Instruction It ordered the principal responsible to go to prison and was prohibited from leaving the national territory.
