Ateval, the Valencian Community Textile Industry Entrepreneurs Association, welcomed the presentation of an action plan for the end of 2022 at its headquarters in Ontinyent this morning. industry and competitiveness gains face the new challenges of the future. All of them have the support of Generalitat Valenciana General Directorate of Industry and are intended for their affiliated companies, free of charge and with prior registration. Likewise, an interactive agenda on competitiveness, innovation, Internationalization, CSR and business ethics of all the activities planned by the association for the last quarter of the year was presented at the event.
The conference, which was opened by Rafael Lurbe, Head of Ateval Innovation Area, was held face-to-face and online, and different projects were announced by the people responsible for each action.

Smart Design for Application eco-design techniques for the production of highly sustainable textile products Textile Technology Institute will be held with Aitex. As Eduardo Fages of the Institute explains, this project aims to analyze the eco-design possibilities in the products of textile companies through different phases and provide them with the necessary tools for more sustainable production.
Alternative Project, an action aimed at determining textile waste recovery ways Alternatives to mechanical shredding processes in collaboration with Aitex. With this initiative, Eduardo Fages stated that it is aimed to find new processes for the reuse of waste and obtain possible ways to apply these materials.
Celebration of “Textilthon”, an event presented by Rafael Lacasa from Fi Group, aiming to promote the textile industry among young people through a hackathon. attracting and retaining the talents of future professionals and generate predictable innovative solutions and methodologies to other agents and projects. The event is scheduled for November 26 in the Gomis de Ontinyent room.
Actions to intensify digital transformation of industrial processes and the use of enabling technologies (ket) presented by Guillermo Giménez of Auren Consultores. The agenda was presented in an interactive format to facilitate access to information and registration, thus helping companies better plan and organize their internal calendars according to their interests. It is presented quarterly and there will be monthly reminders. As Salomé Beneyto explains, “we wanted to make it more visual to improve and facilitate our communication with associated companies”.
Closing the day, Ateval President Pepe Serna said, “While we were programming this whole action and action plan to close this year, we were very aware of the needs of the textile industry, we bet on these materials. To prepare companies in the best possible way to face the new challenges ahead, expanding knowledge that enables them to gain competitiveness”. In this sense, he pointed out that “great effort has been made to select more precise, practical and applicable topics”.
