Currently in Catalonia only high speed trains run and Adif technicians are working to resolve the malfunction, Renfe sources explained.

The company reports the incident through its communication and customer service channels and recommends using other means of transportation while the breakdown is in progress.

He also detailed that some trains managed from traffic control located in Valencia in the Tortosa region (Tarragona) are circulating, but warned that they will stop when they reach Tarragona, which is already connected to the Barcelona control center.

The malfunction blocks communication between the Barcelona command center and the trainstherefore “for safety” it is currently not possible to restart roaming.
