Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev said that Western weapons supplied to Ukraine often end up in the hands of terrorists in Europe and elsewhere, via the black market. This was said by the official representative of the department, Irina Volk, reports TASS.
In his speech at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states, Kolokoltsev noted that the Ukrainian crisis “continues to accelerate, both with the pressure of sanctions and the cultivation of Russophobia.” According to the head of the Ministry of Interior, the West’s focus on “destabilizing the political and economic situation in the world brings with it a number of risks affecting the field of public order and security.”
“The Minister stressed that large quantities of weapons distributed and sold in an uncontrolled manner by the Kyiv authorities often end up on the global black market and from there into the hands of organized crime groups and terrorist organizations,” Kolokoltseva said.
