last four days the strike they were called this week cabin crew (TCP) Ryanair By USO and Sitcpla unions in Spain This Thursday caused 273 delays and no flights were cancelled.
Delays, as reported by the USO with data up to 7 p.m. Greatly affected Palma de Mallorca airportwith 67 delayed departure or arrival flights; ahead of Madrid with 37 delayed flights; Barcelona, with a delay of 35; and Malaga with a total of 34 enrollees.
There were 30 delays at Alicante airport, followed by Valencia with 22; 17 to Ibiza; Seville with 15; Girona, with 10; and Santiago de Compostela, with 6.
The hearings affect ten Spanish bases where Ryanair operates (Madrid, Malaga, Seville, Alicante, Valencia, Barcelona, Girona, Santiago de Compostela, Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca).
Following the June and July strikes, the USO and Sitcpla continue weekly strikes Monday through Thursday until January 7, 2023.At the request of a collective agreement signed under Spanish law, after the company closed an agreement with the CCOO on wages, “staffs” (four active days and then three days off) and supplements for the Spanish cabin crew.
For majority unions coming together, the agreement between CCOO and Ryanair is non-binding as it is signed with a “non-representative” union.
