Cocaine smuggler hiding under mask arrested

National Police agents have arrested a 59-year-old man accused of drug trafficking after selling cocaine on public roads in Gandia. During the arrest, agents seized three packages of this substance in the mask he was wearing.

The investigations began when agents learned that a man might be engaged in the sale of narcotics on various streets of the city.

Agents set up a surveillance device around the alleged seller and observed how several people approached him and exchanged influence after engaging in a short chat.

At one point, during the development of the operation, police found three packages of cocaine hidden in the mask he was wearing. Meanwhile, agents arrested him as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime.

Also, police officers searched the man’s home and found 175 grams of cocaine, 36 grams of sharps, 7,360 euros and precision scales.

Finally, the man with the police record appeared in court yesterday and the judge ordered him to go to prison.
