The FSB announced a new defendant in the case of the murder of Darya Dugina – the special service said that “another member of the Ukrainian sabotage and terror group” is Bogdan Petrovich Tsyganenko, born in 1978.
It was recorded that he arrived in Russia in transit via Estonia on July 30, 2022 and left the country the day before the explosion in Dugina’s car.
The FSB report also cites new data on Natalya Vovk, whom the investigation considers the perpetrator of the murder: “She personally watched Dugin in the parking lot for the guests of the festival of traditions”.
After making sure that Daria had left the festival, Vovk followed her in her Mini Cooper car and “detonated an improvised explosive device,” according to the FSB.
“Tsyganenko provided Vovk with false plates and documents on behalf of Yulia Zaiko, a real citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and together with Vovk installed a hand-made explosive device in a rented garage in the southwest of Moscow. The Russian intelligence service said in a statement.
The subtitles of the attached video say that Tsyganenko entered Russia on July 30 with a Ukrainian passport, not doubting the authenticity of his document.
Tsyganenko from Donetsk
Shortly after the release of the FSB, the RIA Novosti agency published several videos from Donetsk – conversations with relatives of Tsyganenko living there. They said the man had left home with his mother in early July and was no longer in touch.
“After eighth grade, 9-10. instead of classes, he graduated from a military high school. Then I studied here at the Academy of Management in Donetsk,” said Larisa, the suspect’s aunt.
According to him, the man was also engaged in work, helping “someone give a lift”, but recently he did not work and lived at the expense of his mother.
RIA Novosti also reported that Tsyganenko has a profile on VKontakte, in which he may have used a pseudonym – Kasyanov’s name, although his real name was indicated on the social network My World. The agency announced that the My World profile is currently blocked “due to suspicious activity” and the most recent posts on VKontakte date back to 2017.
