The easyJet pilots’ strike in Spain, which started its third 72-hour strike period this Saturday, this Sunday caused four cancellationsAs reported by the Spanish Airline Pilots Association (Sepla).
Specifically, regarding Two cancellations at Barcelona airport place of origin or destination Geneva and other Two at Palma de Mallorca airport with origin or destination London.
Cancellations for this Sunday are added to cancellations posted this Saturday, and 36 registered during the first strike period (on 12, 13 and 14 August) and 38 of the second period (on 19, 20 and 21 August).
In this way, the total number of cancellations registered in easyJet since the start of the strike called by the Sepla union branch 79 flights.
It should be noted that Sepla appealed before the National Supreme Court, considering it “abuse”, to the minimum services agreed by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda for the easyJet pilots’ strike.
Also, the union announced will sue easyJet in the coming days for a practice that it considers to be an abuse of minimal services.
