It was released just this week by the good folks at Square Enix. 6.2 update (embedded memory) of-of’Final Fantasy XIVOnline‘ brings a new farm management system to the popular video game. In the area known as the Island Sanctuary, players will be able to create and care for crops, as well as gather resources to help strengthen their character. The game also features an animal breeding system and an area where up to 40 creatures can roam freely. Structures available for construction include a cozy cabin, a workshop for crafting items, and other structures such as a barn where you can start exploration missions.
According to Square Enix, the more ‘Final Fantasy XIV’ players dedicate to their farm, the higher the level of structures that can be created. Similarly, dedication will also generate a greater amount of rewards that can be used to improve your characters.
The update comes with a new high-level raid for the MMORPG in the form of “Pandæmonium: Abyssos”, available in both Normal and Wild difficulties, where players must showcase all the skills they’ve ever earned. The work also continues the main story of the video game with the new episode “Buried Memory”.
For those who like to play MMO solo, the developer has expanded the Mission Support system. In this way, players can participate in different mazes and challenges with a group of four characters in total, three of which are completely controlled by artificial intelligence. The option was introduced with patch 6.1, but only worked in dungeons from the original ‘A Realm Reborn’ version.
On top of that, the Japanese developer offers, among other things, a host of additional secondary tasks, as well as special tweaks such as updates to plates and portraits or expanding the capacity of the eye-catching dresser from 400 to 800.
