Combat shooting practice using a special underwater pistol SPP-1 during a tactical exercise with swimmers and vehicles (PDSS) of the anti-sabotage forces of the Leningrad naval base of the Baltic Fleet. According to the agency, during the exercises, the PDSS combat group studied the interception of a false intruder and the “flying” of divers. According to the scenario, the intruder resisted, as a result, the boat was raided and captured by the use of weapons.
During the war, in addition to the SPP-1, the use of APS underwater assault rifles and sharp weapons was practiced. The exercise included 30 military personnel, Grachonok and Raptor patrol boats, as well as “robotic equipment for monitoring the underwater situation.”

At a summit in Madrid on June 29, the alliance approved the accession of Sweden and Finland to NATO. After receiving an invitation to join the alliance, the parties are expected to agree on terms of entry. Sweden and Finland will become NATO members when the parliaments of all member states of the alliance approve this decision.
Turkey gave preliminary consent for Finland and Sweden to join the alliance. Ankara has been blocking their membership since May 18 due to their support of Kurdish organizations that the Turkish side considers terrorists.
