During the tour heTravelers will spend a full day visiting Petra, known as the “pink city”. You will visit the Obelisk Tomb, which continues along a canyon of more than 1 km, behind which the Treasure was discovered, and a huge tomb decorated with uniquely beautiful columns and statues. It is as interesting a historical monument as the Shobak fortress, which was built by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem to control the caravan route between Syria and Egypt.
Another of the key stops will be at Mount Nebo, the place where Moses saw the Promised Land. A visit to the summit, views of the Canaanite and Byzantine church will constitute one of the other great stages of this Expedition.
