Sergey Romashkin, Vice President of the Russian Association of Tour Operators (ATOR), said: DEA News” about the consequences of the summer tourist season.

According to him, by the end of the season, the flow of tourists to the Crimea decreased by almost 50%, to the Krasnodar Territory – by 10%. At the same time, the popularity of Dagestan as a tourist destination increased by 40%, Abkhazia – by 10%.

95% of the tourists came to Crimea by road and 5% by rail.

Even the recent events near Novofedorivka and Dzhankoy cannot radically aggravate the situation, because 90% of them have already left or are on vacation. The season is coming to an end, so the last figure has improved, and we can say that the flow of tourists to Crimea has decreased by half, ”explained Romashkin.

ATOR Vice President added that prices in Crimea remained at last year’s level. At the same time, the cost of recreation in Sochi increased by 15%, in Anapa – by 7%.
