Primark warns its customers withdrawal of one of its products, especially a kids dinner plate In the form of Winnie the Pooh, available in Spanish stores since December 17, 2021.
As reported by the chain itself via its website, this decision was made after testing and finding the product in question. traces of lead and formaldehyde, therefore urged people to return it after discovering it posed a possible health risk.
These tests revealed that children’s dinner plates release traces of lead and formaldehyde at levels higher than EU regulations allow, which can be harmful if swallowed.

This product is offered for sale in the establishments of the said chain in other countries that repeat this information.
How to return the product?
Primark also states on its website that consumers who have this product at home should return it to the nearest Primark store for a full refund. The international chain also stated that it is not necessary to provide proof of purchase or receipt.

“We have found that the Primark ‘Winnie the Pooh Plate’ food dish pictured above does not meet Primark’s usual high safety standards. The product has been found to release traces of lead and formaldehyde above levels permitted by EU regulations, which may pose a risk if swallowed.
The product is on sale in our Spanish stores from 17 December 2021.
Acknowledging the safety of our customers as our top priority, we voluntarily recall this product and invite you to return it to any Primark store for a full refund.
You do not need to present proof of purchase or a receipt to receive a refund.”
