Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, said that abnormally hot weather will come to Moscow next week. TASS.
According to their forecast, 28-30 degrees are expected in the capital on Monday, August 22, and 31-33 degrees the next day.
At the same time, the meteorologist noted that no significant precipitation is expected. It will still be a bit cloudy on Monday, but from Tuesday we should expect warm air masses to move again from Turkey, Asia Minor and the Middle East.
“This will cause the temperature to be 7-8 degrees above the climate norm, in the summer this anomaly is huge,” Vilfand said.
The Hydrometeorology Center forecaster noted that the temperature will begin to drop in the second half of the week, but will still remain at 25-29 degrees.
Former weather forecaster Evgeny Tishkovets warned Muscovites about the maximum concentration of smoke due to fires in Ryazan.
