According to Mikhail Artemov, general manager of the Sozvezdie concern (part of the Ruselectronics holding), the complex uses sensors that work on various physical principles that ensure the reliability of the transmitted data.
The complex consists of magnetometric, infrared and seismic sensors up to 20 cm in size. Devices weighing up to 600 g are buried and masked in the ground. The sensors, which can operate autonomously for up to 30 days, detect moving objects, determine the direction of movement and classify objects according to their types. The 1K144-E complex can detect a tank or infantry fighting vehicle within a radius of 200 m, a wheeled vehicle up to 120 m, a person up to 30 m.
