She told them that her grandmother had allegedly died and that she had no money to pay for her ritual services. As proof, She sent her interlocutors pictures of a man covered in a white sheet.
The victims transferred money to a new acquaintance, the attacker managed to deceive 67 people from 20 different parts of the country in total. For example, a resident of Tatarstan transferred to the girl more than 400 thousand rubles in a few months, and among the victims were several residents of Norilsk, who provided a friend with a total of about 400 thousand rubles.
The amount of damage amounted to about 2.3 million rubles. The swindler was detained, 1.25 million rubles were seized from him. 67 criminal cases were initiated, combined into a single case. As a result, the court sentenced the girl to 3 years in prison with a probationary period of 2 years.
