Almost 60% (57%) of working Russians want to have additional income for retirement. This has been reported DEA News” With reference to the results of a survey conducted by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
While 37% of the participants said that they did not need additional financing, 6% could not answer the question. At the same time, men stated that they needed another source of finance more frequently than women (62% versus 52%).
In addition, 50% of citizens plan to work even in retirement age, as they have found a job they can afford. 42% of Russians want to work by profession, 28% hope to be limited by their savings, 24% want to be able to live normally at the expense of food grown in the country or on the farm.
One in five respondents (21%) said that in addition to their pension, they expect to receive income from renting real estate, 14% – for help from children, 11% – for the earnings of the wife or husband, 11% – an additional income. 5% of the savings that have been deducted from the private pension system want to inherit, 4% are considering moving to a smaller flat.
All-Russian telephone survey “VTsIOM-Sputnik” was conducted on June 19 among 1600 adult Russian citizens.
