Second of four days the strike where passengers’ cabin crew was called this week Ryanair in Spain by USO and Sitcpla syndicates, split for now, four canceled flights and 30 delayssix of them at Madrid-Barajas airport.
Four cancellations impacted, as reported by the USO with data up to 9:00 am on Tuesday flights with departure or arrival point in Santiago de Compostela.
The delays affected Barcelona-El Prat airport the most, with seven delayed departure or arrival flights; Madrid, with 6; such as Palma de Mallorca and Malaga; It was followed by Alicante with 4 delays and Ibiza with 1 delay.
Hearings affect ten Spanish bases where Ryanair operates (Madrid, Malaga, Seville, Alicante, Valencia, Barcelona, Girona, Santiago de Compostela, Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca).
Following the June and July strikes, the USO and Sitcpla are holding weekly strikes Monday through Thursday until 7 January 2023. For majority unions coming together, the agreement between CCOO and Ryanair is non-binding as it is signed with a “non-representative” union.
