Gorlovka mayor Ivan Prikhodko said that one of the buildings of the Nikitovsky correctional colony caught fire after artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He reported this in his news telegram channel.

“As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a fire broke out in one of the buildings of the Nikitovsky correctional colony at the address: st. Picturesque, 1 (Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka),” wrote Prikhodko.

According to the mayor, the Ministry of Emergencies is currently putting out the fire in the colony.

He said there were no casualties.
