Pick was born in Wroclaw, Poland, in 1949. In 1956, his family immigrated to Israel and settled in Ramat Gan. For most of the 1960s, he was a member of “rhythm bands”, the first Israeli rock bands, beginning with “Ha-Kedim” (“Echoes”), where he played guitar from the age of 15.
