According to the diplomat, Ukraine needs more MLRS and artillery to have flexibility in deploying forces.
“Not because we have to bomb Russian soil, but because we just have to reach any point on our soil,” he said.
Markarova noted that Pentagon officials know what Ukraine needs and why.
At the same time, the ambassador stressed that the influx of American weapons systems is very important.
