In the Nizhneilimsky district, a bear unexpectedly departed, causing a fatal accident, informs Press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the Telegram channel for the Irkutsk region.
The collision occurred on August 4, 2022 on the federal highway A-331 Vilyui at around 22:30. According to preliminary data, a Toyota Land Cruiser car crashed into a bear that was suddenly on the road. From the blow, the foreign car was thrown into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a KamAZ truck.
As a result of the accident, the 42-year-old driver of the car died at the scene of his injuries. The 56-year-old man driving the truck was taken to the hospital. The bear also died of his injuries. His body was taken away by forest guards.
