In the first phase of the operation, the agents identified all members of the criminal group, six of whom were Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Cuban and Moroccan nationals, two women and four men, all aged between 35 and 45. Although the gang’s base of operations was in El Campello, one of the women was located in Roquetas de Mar, and it was she who provided the gang with the mystery hidden in the double bottoms of the vehicles for later transport to Europe. countries.

During the investigations, it was possible to prove that the criminal group had connections outside the city and the province, which included agents Benidorm, Valencia, San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia) and Roquetas. led him to travel to the towns of de Mar. (Almeria).

During the exploitation phase of Operation Krabas, on May 30, 2022, four houses were entered and searched in the towns of El Campello, Valencia and Roquetas de Mar (Almería).

The investigation resulted in the arrest of six gang members accused of committing crimes against public health for drug dealing and membership of a criminal organization. On the record, about 90 kilograms of cannabis, various anabolics, three high-end vehicles, two vans modified to store the drug, two motorcycles, 9,145 euros in cash, various mobile phone terminals, several machines for vacuum packaging and useful for growing cannabis.

The Court of the Guard and the Elche Order ruled that one of the main members of the gang be imprisoned, while the rest were prohibited from leaving the national territory and periodically appearing in the Courts.

With this operation, the Civil Guard and the National Police believe that another blow was dealt to a Lithuanian criminal gang specializing in such crimes in the Levante region of Alicante.
