Employees of the capital prosecutor’s office rescued two dozen cats living in unsanitary conditions in an apartment on Altufevskoye Highway in the north of Moscow. This has been reported press service supervisory authority.
“Both people and animals suffered,” the prosecutor’s office said.
The Butyrsky interdistrict prosecutor filed a lawsuit to ban the keeping of pets in the apartment and ordered the owner to restore order. The court fully accepted the requirements of the supervisory authority and granted the request. The prosecutor’s office also supervised the implementation of the court decision.
Now volunteers will help 20 cats, kittens and kittens find new owners.
