A package of documents is being prepared to obtain permission to conduct clinical trials of a vaccine against Marburg fever in the Russian Federation. This was reported by RIA Novosti With reference to Rospotrebnadzor.
It was noted that the experts of the State Virology and Biotechnology Research Center “Vector” successfully completed the pre-clinical trials of the vaccine. Vector announced that the readiness level of the vaccine is high.
“Development [вакцины] has undergone pre-clinical trials demonstrating its safety and effectiveness <…> A number of vaccines are currently being developed and a package of documents is being prepared to obtain the appropriate authorization,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
