The Moscow City Real Estate Department decided to terminate the lease agreement with the CIE Moldexpo SA organization of the Moldova pavilion on the territory of the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements (VDNKh). RBC referring to the case file.

The ministry filed a relevant claim with the Moscow Arbitration Court on July 26. In the lawsuit, DGI also demands the cancellation of the pavilion sublease agreement with the Arbia Group company and the return of the building to its original state.

No other details were disclosed in the document. The court left the application unconsidered until September 2, the decision said.

The area of ​​​​this structure is 2.7 thousand square meters – this is one of the national pavilions of the countries that were formerly part of the USSR and is located on the territory of VDNKh. The building was built in 1951 according to the design of the architectural trio Fedor Naumov, Anatoly Zakharov and Vladislav Tukanov and was called the “Moldavian SSR”. The internal exposition is designed to reflect both the historical and cultural traditions of Moldova, as well as its achievements in such spheres as agriculture and industry.
