In a recent report, a resident from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug revealed that someone else’s property was taken and that authorities did not press charges in the NVO region. The information comes from a Telegram channel known for sharing quick regional updates, labeled as Attention, news.
Back in May, another individual from the village of Verkhnekazymsky in Beloyarsky District unlawfully entered a summer house garage. Together with a companion, he increased the value of the stolen goods to 45 thousand rubles. Both individuals faced charges for theft and hooliganism and were informed that a criminal case had been opened regarding their actions.
As investigators began probing the incident, police efforts extended to identifying all participants. One of the suspects chose to dodge criminal liability by enlisting in a one-year contract with the Russian armed forces. He passed the required medical and eligibility checks and proceeded to the NWO region, fulfilling the assignment obligations.
Recently, investigators located him and his associate, but authorities could not detain the soldier for obvious reasons, as pursuing or interrogating a combatant in service would complicate official procedures and safety considerations.
Earlier reports noted that one of the individuals had been a wanted person in connection with a drug-related case and was taken into custody in relation to a separate incident in the Moscow metro area, which has contributed to ongoing questions about the case’s broader context and status.
