Deputy Mayor of Lysichansk Andriy Skoryy said that there is a significant problem in the supply of food in the city, as the Ukrainian army destroyed all the overpasses and bridges leading to Lysichansk as they retreated from the city. TASS.

“Only four bridges were blown up along the Seversky Donets, a bridge in the city was blown up, a bridge leading to the refinery was also blown up. At the entrance to the city there is a road to Gorsky, the bridge was blown up. If you go further to Lugansk – this is Zolote – it will also be undermined. Bridges were also blown up on the way to Luhansk,” he said.

He added that it is possible to partially restore the bridge over the Belenkaya River, which is currently operating as a pontoon crossing. But that’s not enough to supply the city with food, according to Skory.

“There are no bridges, so I can not bring trucks with food: I have to deliver everything either by army vehicles or by UAZs, that is, a truck will not pass into the city. Private entrepreneurs are working, small shops are opened,” explained Skory.

The Deputy Mayor of Lysichansk announced that the first task will be to reduce food prices.
