source said TASSIt has been announced that the world’s longest-range Russian-made SVLK-14S “Twilight” rifle was first used during a military special operation in Ukraine. The source added that this information has not been officially confirmed.

At the same time, the interlocutor added that it is used by snipers, especially near Kharkov and Kyiv.

The source added that the “Twilight” advantage lies in the combination of powerful cartridges, large caliber and high accuracy of shooting at ultra-long distances.

In December last year, it was reported that in Russia they created the world’s first multi-caliber DXL-5 “Ravager” (export name – Havoc) rifle, capable of firing NATO cartridges 12.7 x 99 millimeters. In his opinion, the main feature of the new weapon is its modularity.

The head of Lobaev Arms also noted that the DXL-5 has a unique accuracy of 0.5 arc minutes for 12.7 caliber – therefore, this weapon fires four times more accurately than the American Barret sniper rifle (2 arc minutes).

Currently, the Twilight rifle is the longest-range rifle in the world. This weapon was developed by specialists of Lobaev Arms.
