In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 38-year-old man who threw a dog off a balcony was found guilty of cruelty to animals. reports “Ministry of Internal Affairs Media”.
According to the case file, in December 2023, a resident of Zheleznogorsk threw his partner’s dog from the second floor balcony; the man committed his crime because the animal caused damage to property: it gnawed at wallpaper, furniture, and shoes. At the time of the incident, the convict was intoxicated.
The dog survived but was badly injured. Thanks to volunteers, the animal’s condition was stabilized. Although some of its body functions could not be restored, the dog was found a new family.
The court sentenced the Russian to 250 hours of forced labor.
