FSB detains resident of Kaluga region, assigned by SBU

A convicted man with drug addiction problems was recruited by SBU officers. This was reported by “Nika TV”.

FSB officers detained a 36-year-old man in the Kaluga region. Ukrainian intelligence services recruited the man and turned him into an informant. The Russian was supposed to monitor important facilities in Russia and provide the necessary data.

It is known that the suspect had previously been convicted, and then began using drugs while he was free. At some point, the man went to a rehabilitation center to get rid of his addiction. But the organization he chose had other goals – it was there that he was recruited to the SBU.

The suspect reportedly confessed to everything. A criminal case was opened.
