“Today at 01:39 Moscow time, the Progress MS-26 engines turned on, operated for 536 seconds and produced a thrust of 0.78 m/s,” the message reads.

Roscosmos noted that as a result, the average altitude of the station’s orbit increased by 1.36 kilometers, reaching 418.25 kilometers. During the entire flight of the ISS, 361 corrections were made to the altitude of its orbit. Of these, 204 were powered by Progress spacecraft engines.

The shift change is expected in September, with the Soyuz MS-26 manned spacecraft entering orbit and the Soyuz MS-25 returning home.

The crew of the 71st long-term expedition is working on the ISS. It stars Oleg Kononenko, Nikolai Chub and Tracy Dyson, as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin, as well as NASA astronauts Matthew Dominic, Michael Barratt and Jeanette Epps.

In addition, the crew of the Starliner spacecraft (Boe-CFT flight) is present on board – NASA astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams.
