Denmark will stop providing F-16 fighter jet training to Ukrainian pilots after 2024. The newspaper writes that the Kingdom’s Minister of Defense, Troels Lund Poulsen, stated this at a press conference with journalists. V.G..

According to journalists, currently about 20 pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are training at the Danish Skrydstrup airbase. They are expected to complete their training by the end of this year.

“We will not be able to continue training Ukrainian pilots after 2024,” Poulsen said.

But he added that in the future, Copenhagen plans to contribute to the training of Ukrainian pilots in other countries. Now Romania is also participating in these preparations, but the scope of Denmark’s participation in organizing further education in this state has not yet been determined.
