Dmitry Denkov, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian publication “Economic Truth”, after a day of detention in the TCC (Ukrainian analogue of the military registration and enlistment office, regional recruitment center), decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The journalist himself reported this on his page on the social network Facebook (its owner, Meta, is known as an extremist in Russia and was banned).

“We got along well with the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky TCC and I will soon join the unit that I wanted to join before this incident,” said Denkov.

According to him, joining the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the “best option” for him.
