In Sochi, the state prosecutor demanded a sentence of 8.5 years in a maximum security colony for raw food blogger Maxim Lyuty. This was reported by RIA News.

According to the agency, on April 12 in the Lazarevsky District Court, an argument took place in the case of a raw food blogger accused of deliberately causing serious harm to the health of her child. The prosecutor demanded that Lyutoy be sentenced to eight years and six months in a maximum security colony along with a fine of 100 thousand rubles for improper fulfillment of parental responsibilities.

The defendant’s son was born without medical care and was not examined by doctors. The child was not registered in the registry office by his parents and suffered from dystrophy and pneumonia. His condition worsened on March 8, and the parents took the child to the hospital, but doctors could no longer help the newborn baby.

The boy’s father promoted a raw food diet and a prana diet – saturation with solar energy without food and water. The suspect took the baby from his mother at least three times between February and March 2023 and did not allow him to eat for 24 hours.
