In Astana, the wax statue of the first president of the republic, Nursultan Nazarbayev, was removed from the State Military History Museum of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the news agency Tengrinews.
The reasons for this decision were not officially disclosed. Journalists announced that the figure was installed six years ago. The former president of Wax was sitting at a table in one of the halls of the museum. Now in its place is a wax figure of the Soviet and Kazakh military leader, the first Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Hero of the Soviet Union Sagadat Nurmagambetov.
The museum noted that the Nazarbayev figure was placed in storage at the foundation.
